Last two weeks of Spring promotion and Newfoundland clinic

A final reminder to all prospective SpeechEasy clients that our Spring promotion of $500 discount off the price of SpeechEasy fluency devices (excluding mySpeech and SpeechCoach) is coming to an end on 30 April 2012. We would like to encourage previously assessed clients to make use of this promotion and to new clients to schedule an appointment before this date, to still qualify.

A further reminder to people who stutter in Newfoundland: Helma Osmond, Speech-Language Pathologist based in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia and TFC’s SpeechEasy provider for the Maritime Provinces, will be running a SpeechEasy clinic in St. John’s on May 10, 11 and 12. Helma has been involved with SpeechEasy for the past 8 years and she says “she loves working with the SpeechEasy, because it has the potential to greatly improve a person who stutters’ quality of life”. Exceptional discount offer for Spring 2012

In conjunction with SpeechEasy International’s ‘Commit to Fluency’ campaign, True Fluency Canada is offering a limited time discount of $500 off the regular price of SpeechEasy fluency devices (excluding mySpeech and Speechcoach). This means the price will be lowered from $4,390 to $3,890. This offer is valid for orders placed during March and April 2012 and the price will be adjusted at the time of purchase – no need to print any coupons. December Rebate Offer for New SpeechEasy Clients

To celebrate the launch of True Fluency Canada’s new website, we are offering a $200 rebate for devices ordered in December 2011 and which are kept beyond the two-month trial period (offer excludes the mySpeech and SpeechCoach devices). To qualify for this limited-time offer, please sign up at the ‘Request for Information’ page and mention the rebate in the questions/comments window. The rebate cheque will be mailed at the end of the trial period if you keep the device. King’s Speech workshop at Canadian Stuttering Association, 2011

Janet Gibson, TFC President, attended the Canadian Stuttering Association (CSA) ‘Making Connections’ Conference in Vancouver, Canada in August, 2011. Janet presented a workshop based on the recent Oscar-winning movie The Kings’ Speech, called ‘Therapies for a King – How does Lionel Logue’s Therapy Plan compare to Therapies of Today?’.

“Researching this topic was so interesting.” says Janet, “My respect and admiration for both King George VI and his Speech Therapist Lionel Logue, are huge after learning so much more about their lives and their relationship through the King’s stuttering challenges.”

Newfoundland Clinic

A successful SpeechEasy clinic was held in Newfoundland, Canada by SpeechEasy Speech-Language Pathologist Helma Osmond in September 2011. Helma extended her services from her usual office in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to the St. John’s NL Speech-Language Pathology offices of Gail Dicks O’Keefe. Helma flies to Newfoundland once or twice a year to offer SpeechEasy services to People Who Stutter in Newfoundland.
